// "... committed to nourishing the ecosystem of Australian music, through it's flagship concert series and recordings, regional touring, educational workshops and new format performances" //

Program:

Piano Trio by Clara Schumann

Piano Trio Op. 70 No.2 by Ludwig van Beethoven

Beethoven's trio Op 70. No. 2 is less widely known than it's predecessor The Ghost or its successor The Archduke. Lacking a nickname doesn't help! Even though it is full of the typical creative magic of his middle period (1803 - 1812), it is at the same time more reminiscent of Haydn, Mozart and even Schubert than his sibling pieces in this genre.
